It has all the same core internals so anything you have done with your Python can transfer over. If you just want a pure combat ship, I recommend the Krait Mark II. Though to be honest, the Python really excels in a 'multi role' situation. Bi-Weaves are preferable for bounty hunting. This ship as a trade ship isn't quickly going from fight to fight so I use regular shields on it. If you're going to be fighting in a Resource Extraction site, I also recommend going with Bi-Weave shields instead. if you wanted to just bounty hunt you could swap the Cargo Bays for Hull and Module Re-enforcement packages. It's a simple build, but does quite well. Question is, does this ships ability to turn its hand to a. It's role is as an 'armed trader,' I just use it as the space equivilent of an Armored Car. The Python from Faulcon DeLacy in Elite Dangerous is an aged ship, but somehow, this ship is an all-rounder in every sense. This is what I am currently using on my Python.
